Solarstone is a pioneer in the field of building-integrated solar roof solutions. Our goal is to bring innovation to one of the largest economic sectors — the construction industry — by revolutionizing the roofing industry with energy-efficient, durable, and aesthetically pleasing solutions. As we expand into international markets, we are looking for a CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER (building-integrated solar roofs).

The construction engineer joining our team will have previous experience in designing building structures and roofing solutions, with a good understanding of building standards. Their role will be to standardize and certify Solarstone's Solar Full Roof, Solar Tiled Roof, and Solar Carport solutions in the Nordic countries and European Union markets.

Main Responsibilities:

• Align Solarstone's BIPV solutions with common building standards and practices, ensuring ease of design, efficient construction methods, and safety in installation.
• Certify Solarstone’s product solutions, ensuring they comply with industry practices and are in accordance with European standards, such as CE, ETA's, SPA, TüV, Kiwa, and/or local building codes.
• Prepare, update, and manage product compliance declarations, installation guides, and training documents in accordance with local regulations and requirements.
• Collaborate with architectural and civil engineering firms, as well as building inspectors in target markets, to ensure compliance with local building regulations and safety standards.
• Visit partners, distributors, and construction sites, engaging with all stakeholders to improve guidelines, refine practices, and optimize the tools and materials used.
• Apply 3D modeling and visualization skills to support the product development and sales teams with visual renderings.
• Provide technical support to team members and partners, and conduct training sessions.

Our Expectations of You:

• Certified construction engineer (building design, construction management).
• Experience with 3D modeling and visualization.
• Ability to use Autodesk, Graphisoft, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
• Excellent collaboration and adaptability skills to work in a fast-developing industry.
• Strong proficiency in English.

Role Overview:
As we expand into international markets, we are looking for a strategic and proactive Growth and Partnership Manager to grow our footprint and establish lasting partnerships across Western Europe, with a strong focus on the German market. This is a high-impact role that will directly shape our expansion strategy, build brand presence, and foster relationships within the building, housing, and construction industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and growth strategy to expand Solarstone’s market presence in the German and Western Europe regions.
• Execute a Go-To-Market strategy, supporting the launch of Solarstone’s products across key markets and increasing brand awareness.
• Identify and build strategic partnerships, establishing a robust network within the building, housing, and construction industry, with a focus on (solar) roofing systems.
• Lead, mentor, and support a dynamic sales team to ensure consistent growth and achievement of targets.
• Manage and optimize sales budgets and forecasts, driving a results-oriented approach to maximize revenue growth.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders, positioning Solarstone as a trusted and forward-thinking partner.
• Stay updated on the latest in solar technology and roofing solutions, integrating industry knowledge into market strategies.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of sales management experience, with a proven track record in the German and/or Western Europe markets.
• Strong business network within the building, housing, construction, or roofing industry.
• Proficiency in both German and English, with excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
• Solid understanding of building construction, roofing systems and solar technology.
• Proven ability to manage sales budgets, forecasts, and overall strategy.
• Results-driven, adaptable, and proactive with strong leadership and team management skills.
• Comfortable with technology and engineering at a basic level.
